The Kansas City Chiefs have hired Andy Reid

The Chiefs have hired 54-year old Andy Reid to take over as their new head coach.  Reid had a rough year in Philly as the Eagles were only 4-12 on the season.  He also lost his son due to a drug overdose, so 2012 was a nightmare for Reid.  Moving to K.C. and getting a fresh new start will likely invigorate Reid.  Reid has compiled a 130-93-1 (58.3%) regular during the regular season in his first 14 years in the NFL.  He also is 10-9 (52.6%) in the playoffs and he lost the 2004 Super Bowl to the Patriots.  The Eagles won 10 or more games 8 times in his 14 years with the Eagles.  He only has had 3 three years out of 14, that his team was under .500.  The Chiefs have also fired GM Scott Pioli as they are going in a completely new direction starting now.  Reid is a winner and I look for him to change the Chiefs around in the very near future.
